According to U.S. News & World Report, of more than 15,000 U.S. skilled-nursing facilities evaluated by U.S. News, barely 2,000 earned a High-Performing rating. They went on to say, "The designation of Best Nursing Home is given only to those homes that satisfy U.S. News's assessment of the appropriate use of key services and consistent performance in quality measures. The ratings are based on U.S. News's in-depth analysis of publicly available data, information that is not factored into CMS's star ratings." This year also placed emphasis on employee COVID-19 vaccination rate.
Regional Director of Operations Jeremy Kiley commented, "We are grateful for our compassionate professionals across all departments who work tirelessly every day to meet the needs of those who depend on us. This recognition is because of their ongoing commitment to upholding high standards and providing quality care to our most vulnerable population."
