Let the Leaves Fall, Not You: Receive a Fall Prevention Assessment

According to The Wisconsin State Journal, falls in Wisconsin are up 24% in the last three years, with most falls occurring within private residences.

During the season of inclement weather, holiday gatherings, and decreased outdoor activity due to the cold and ice, this is a perfect time to consider the benefits of physical therapy (PT) as a key tool to fall prevention. PT experts can identify strength, balance, and activity tolerance deficits, as well as provide recommendations for home safety.

Do not wait until you experience a fall. PT can benefit those at all activity levels. If chronic pain limits you, talk to our therapists about non-medicinal ways to decrease or eliminate the factors that hold you back from living your best life.

Contact Dove Healthcare for a free PT screen in Bloomer, Eau Claire, Osseo, and Rice Lake, and learn how two to three visits a week can help you enter the New Year feeling better and stronger.
